The Carl Zeiss Foundation has just launched a new Transfer Center called JENAiNNOVATION at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. It will focus on innovation and transfer originating from the our most excellence research domains. One of them is, of course, photonics.
This position is one out of four new Innovation Scouts. Their tasks will include to identify, assess, and activate high-potential research results directly from the ongoing research for transfer, innovation, and commercialization. Notably, the Innovation Scouts will work directly in the operative environment of the excellence research domains - for photonics, this will be the Abbe Center of Photonics. The main requirements for the job are
- University degree (Master’s level or equivalent) in natural sciences, engineering, or a related
discipline - Proven expertise in the focus area photonics (there are also other focus areas)
- Demonstrated interest and initial experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, including the
identification and evaluation of innovation potential, the use of entrepreneurial methodology - ...
