The city of Jena is proud to host the XXIV. International Conference on Raman Spectroscopy (ICORS2014) from 10 - 15 August 2014. The event is organized by the Friedrich Schiller University, the Leibniz-Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT) and the Abbe Center of Photonics. Jena as a traditional center of the photonic industry is well suited to welcome established scientists in the field as well as newcomers and especially students. The conference chairs are ACP principal scientists J├╝rgen Popp and Volker Deckert who wish to connect current technology developments with the coming applications, by bringing together the major players in the field.

At this annual conference, all major developments of the broad field of Raman spectroscopy will be presented and discussed. Ranging from ultra short and ultra small techniques to applications in life sciences to geology the conference will provide a platform for in-depth scientific discussions of all major topics related to Raman spectroscopy.
